Lizz Moreau is the Executive Director of the Central Louisiana Pro Bono Project, a farm owner, and a founding member of Women of Cenla. With a heart for service and a commitment to justice, she works tirelessly to expand access to legal support for individuals and families across her community.

After 28 years of dedicated service, Lizz faced an unexpected layoff—but instead of stepping back, she stepped forward. What could have been a setback became a turning point. For two years, she commuted to Baton Rouge while continuing to manage her farm in Cenla, demonstrating resilience, determination, and unwavering strength.

Today, Lizz leads with both compassion and grit, overseeing programs that connect those in need with vital legal resources. Whether in her professional role or tending to her land, she embodies a balance of leadership, hard work, and grounded purpose.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that setbacks can become the foundation for comebacks—and that a life rooted in service, perseverance, and heart can make a lasting impact in every space she touches.
